Yesterday was a very full day at Epcot. We opened the park at 9am and made our way back to the parking lot at 8:30pm. Needless to say we were all very tired. We welcomed the opportunity to sleep in this morning and have a late breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald at the Chef Mickey restaurant at the Contemporary Resort. This has always been a favorite character meal of Paul and mine and we couldn't wait to experience it with Avery. It did start raining yesterday afternoon soon after we entered World Showcase at Epcot so please ignore the very stylin' hair we all had. Now on to the pictures:
Bright eyed and bushy tailed at 9am!!
Paul, Avery, Sandra, and Clifford posing in front of the world famous Epcot ball.
I was the only one to brave this ride but of course I had to have Avery in the picture with me!!
We loved the new Nemo and friends ride and exhibit. This is one area of Epcot that has really changed since the last time we visited Disney.
Avery posing in the sharks mouth!!
Avery has already learned that when touring Disney with her mommy and daddy sometimes to get a break you just have to lay yourself down at any opportunity.
Sandra, Avery, and Robyn outside of the Nemo and Friends Ride
Next it was on to the World Showcase where we visited exhibits from 11 different countries. We are also visiting during the Food and Wine festival where they have a variety of sample entrees so that you can taste foods from other countries.
Paul and his mom pose outside the Canadian mountains.
Our sleeping beauty with the real sleeping beauty in France.
What can you do when it's raining outside and you're in Morocco?
Have a dance off with the genie from Aladdin, of course!!!
The princesses don't seem to bother Avery as much, maybe because she can see their faces? Here we are with Princess Jasmine
We finished out the rest of the countries and had dinner in China (of course) we have a couple of pictures to share from that country but I want to do a special post about that. One interesting thing about our visit to China was that we saw several older women working in the country that would ask us what province Avery was born in, when we responded they always look at her and say "lucky girl". That is the same reaction we received when we were in the real China adopting her.
As I stated this morning we slept in and then visited a couple of resorts before going to the Contemporary for breakfast. Sandra had always wanted to visit the Grand Floridian, Disney's Victorian resort. She definitely was to stay there on another trip.
The girls at the Grand Floridian.
Guess where we are??
Avery didn't even realize Goofy was standing behind us!!
Mickey sneaking up for a picture at our request!!
Pluto stopping by our table for a visit.
Paul and Cliff goofin' around with Donald.
On the grounds of the Contemporary Resort
Avery didn't mind this Mickey at all!!
Even the topiaries are mickey shaped.
We came back to our condo for afternoon naps and we are about to go out for "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party", wait 'til you get a look at our costumes.
Thanks for checking in.....Happy Tuesday!!!!

I am still trying to figure out how you got her into the shark's mouth?

I'm seriously checking your blog a few times a day - and we all know, I don't do that. But you MUST KNOW that it's the Magic Kingdom I am waiting for....gah! Give it up, already!!
Love you (love the post!)

Awesome photos! I loved the Nemo ride too...and the wine festival! I can't believe that we were there a year ago.
Love you,

Looks like you're having a great time! I hope you're enjoying some good weather and light crowds at Disney. Have fun!
