Back the memory train up.....

Finally a little time to post and catch up with some pics!!

We will back track back to Thanksgiving.....

*Thanksgiving Day* was spent with Paul's Dads side of the family. We always get together on this holiday and enjoy too much food and alot of fun while watching the football games.

Paul and Avery playing outside. Avery loves to swing around.
Don't worry he had a very good grip on her.

Our little branch of the family (Tony had to leave early to get to work)
Me, Paul, Avery, Sandra, and Clifford

Even as adults you can't get both these guys to keep a straight face in the same picture
Sandra with her two sons, Paul and Tony

Avery loves to eat!! Thanksgiving was right up her ally!
Lovin' this holiday that is full of food!!

*Black Friday* Yes, I did go shopping this year (as usual). I went with Kiesha, her mom, her sisters, and a couple of friends. I used to go with these ladies every year and believe me we always make a trip out of it. We left at the grand ole hour of 3:30AM and I returned back home at 11PM!!! There were 9 of us total and we filled the beds of 2 pick up trucks with our purchases!! We all got some awesome deals and our already mapping out strategies for next year.

We spent the rest of the weekend wrapping, recovering from the marathon of shopping and trying to get stuff ready for Christmas. My mom always has her Thanksgiving meal on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It accommodates our schedules better and that way we don't have 2 huge meals on the same day.

Here are some pics from Mom's Thanksgiving:

Avery was having a very funky hair day!
Another 3 generation picture!!

Paul and I have mastered the art of self portraits, however he had to take the shot because my arms don't seem to be long enough.
The smiley couple!

Avery of course has to pose with everyone:
With Grandma and Papaw!

Still posing
now with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bill

Kolin got out Avery's blocks and decided he was going to see how high he could build them up before they fell.
Avery trying to "help" and Kolin trying to keep her from his masterpiece.

Kolin was getting it so high he had to get the step ladder out to keep stacking
we made mom get the yardsticks so we could measure how high he was getting it. Here she is with 2 yardsticks and his stack a little over 4 feet tall and still standing.

After seeing Kolin's huge stack Avery was determined to build her own.
Kolin teaching her how to stack.

I can't believe how grown up Kelby is getting to be.
He gets his driving permit next month!!!!! Watch out!!!

Father and Son
Chris and Kelby entertaining us with serious faces while Kolin was stacking blocks.

So that gets us caught up on Thanksgiving festivities. I already showed you the self portraits we took last week but thought I would give you a couple of the outtakes. Like I said before it took alot of work to get me, Paul, Avery, and Rowdy all posed at the same moment for a picture.

My two favorite people!!
He is such an awesome daddy!!

Giving daddy sugars!!

Trying to get the family set up but Avery was too busy showing daddy her socks

She sure didn't want to sit there all by herself and pose.

Our first attempt was to get just a shot of Avery and Rowdy in front of the tree
not exactly what I had in mind!!

At least we finally did get a good shot....as evidenced in the post below.

Thanks for checking in on us. Hopefully I won't fall so far behind again!!

Happy Tuesday!!
