Yep, it's official......
The CCAA updated their website this evening and the cut-off for this month's referrals is Dec 19th. Yes, you read it correctly we missed it by one day....So now we know we are definitely next. China in the spring sounds lovely!!!!

God bless your positive attitude (as if you were being given a choice in the matter - sigh) but you know I love you to pieces and this grieves my heart. I'm so bummed for you - but at least we know beyond the shadow of a doubt, that we'll be seeing Avery next month. When could we ever say that until now?

I know it is hard waiting another month, but I beleive there is a reason for this, something was not ready, only God knows, You both are going to be so blessed in February. He knows the plans he has for both you & Paul,& Avery. His plans are special plans for you & your very special little girl.
You don't have to worry about February, you should be definitely in, just put it in Gods hands & know his plans are best for all of you.
February will be gone before you know it & Avery will be here to meet all of her family. So many people love her already. What a specil gift she is.

Hope this is the fastest month in CCAA history! We had the same thing happen to us, and oh, what a bummer.
Of course, now we can't imagine it any other way, but at the time...not so much!
I am keeping you close to my heart this month, I so know what it is like to miss it by one day. The up side is that You know that You know YOU ARE NEXT!!! Plan a party, get the camera ready, Buy a special pen ( for all the IMPORTANT info), Make sure your printer has ink ( for printing out several copies of her BEAUTIFUL picture), Get your frames ready and a special place picked out to display them, Have a list of all the numbers you will need to call after "THE CALL" trust me no matter how well you know them by heart you will more than likly forget one or two, and why shouldn't you as your heart will be fully occupied with your little angel! This is it, let the nesting begin becuse your perfect, one of a kind, original, ment to be daughter will be know to you the next time that stork flies. Oh and one more fun thing to do... Go and park in the expectant moms spot at your favorite store and live it up for all it is worth knowing you are NEXT!!!
So it totally reminds me of that line from the Sinatra song, "Ain't that a kick in the head..."...you know what though, February is a fabulous month (after all, I am a February baby)! Let the countdown begin...less than one month now! I can't wait to meet Avery and see her BEAUTIFUL FACE! Hanging tight with you!
