3 Word Sunday!

Thanks for all your suggestions about getting Avery on a sleep schedule!!!! We are slowly but surely making progress. The funny thing is what works for one or two nights doesn't work on night #3 and we are back to square one. Hopefully we are on the right track. And for the record: we are not opposed to letting her "cry it out" but were just leary when those episodes lasted over an hour!! Hey, at this point whatever works!!!!!

Thanks again for all the advice!!!

Have a great Sunday.

Hi! Jsut keep after it. Did I mention that last year when we first implemented the whole Healthy Sleep habit routine that the month of August was H***? One night she was awake all.night.long. Screaming--"is anyone there? Someone? Anyone"? She slept in 20 minute increments that night. And because she is a strong willed child, she was ready to fight to the death to get her way. We kept strong. It took us a couple of months to undo what was at that time 3 years of sleeping with us. And then she kept getting sick once the outdoor stuff kept blowing thru and thus began the backslide. We are on 2 weeks and she is right back in the routine but it really took us awhile at least 7 weeks to get her into a routine because she is a child who needs that much structure when it comes to sleep. I don't even think Super Nanny could have kept Grace in her bed. Because sometimes it is just not as easy as it looks on TV.

Just keep with it. Consistency, even if it does not seem to work on some nights, will be the key.

All of a sudden it will seem like she will get back to a schedule where she stays asleep. Even if it takes a couple of months to get there.

Been praying for you because I have been there and truly understand what y'all are going thru.

XOXO-
Beth
