Just found out today that our Consulate Appointment is confirmed for April 1st. That means we will be leaving next week!!! We should have flights booked by Tuesday afternoon and I will let you know the rest then.

For the last two years I have seen your pain covered by your smiles and determination. It is a very helpless feeling to know the children you love have to go thru this and a parent can't ease the pain.
Cherish your posse group, "friends are like angles when you forget or too tired to fly." Just think, God had everything under control because you are getting Avery on Easter Sunday. That sends a message to you that the wait however hard was worth the wait. I am very proud of the adults you and Paul have become and love you with all my heart. I wait with open arms to spoil my new and only grand daughter.
When you get to China and you get Avery in your arms, time will fly before you will be coming back home. Now, you know I am not a mussy person or girlyman so I will close this by saying, I haven't cried in many many years, but tonight I am sooo happy for you and Paul I couldn't help it.

Girl, Daddy Wayne said it all! It has been hard watching you wait but now that is over and we can all spoil that little girl. He will be an amazing grandfather. And I love what he said about friends - we are always here to help you fly, my friend. I love you!!!!!
I really didn't need to shed water this morning. I know the nut doesn't fall far from the tree, but apparnetly the big hearts cluster near one another too.
There is nothing more to say, except you are well loved and blessed by all lucky enogh to know you.

James Hiram said it all SO well...and he looks good without a shirt too...those pictures had me cracking up! I am so excited that you are leaving next week. I cannot wait to see Avery. Not sure if I will make it to the airport...as much as you know I want to but I will be at your East meets West celebration! Yippee...Momma she's coming home!!!
